TUV The Unauthorized Version (UV) is a translation I work on each week, in an effort to understand the four lectionary texts and how they interact. I have been putting the Gospel lesson puzzles on the back page of the bulletin each Sunday in my church for years. I tried once to leave it off. This was not well received. Since there is no patron for this project and because it is not a political translation, I chose the title The Unauthorized Version—as opposed to something like the King James Authorized Version of 1611. I have only recently begun posting the translations of the four lessons on my church website each week. Soon enough I hope to have them here as well. |
